The trophy in the memory of Giovanni Invernizzi goes to Piedmont: Tournour wins

Despite running at the same time with the European Football Championships,  a large audience enjoyed the first round of the Italian indoor trial championship, which took place in Cortenova. With the occasion Officine Ambrogio Melesi & C s.r.l. remembered Mr Giovanni Invernizzi 40 years after his passing, with the Trophy named in his memory.

It has been a successful evening thanks to the professional and enthusiastic MC Valsassina's organization, who managed the event and cared about the competition field.

Melesi proudly accepted the invitation to support this event because its flanges and forged pieces contributed to increase the spectacularity of the race. The race on really difficult areas was thrilling. Riders were able to give an adrenalitic perfomance and in addition to their skill they had to prove a good dose of courage.

The competion was won by Gianluca Tournour. The Piedmontese Gas Gas driver beated the Valsassinese driver thanks to the elegance of his clean and precise driving. The home favorite Matteo Grattarola (Beta Factory), struggling with two breakages of the vehicle due to violent blows against obstacles, got the second place, while the Lecco driver Luca Petrella (Gas Gas Farioli) closed at third place, forced to leave the race at the last minute due to a problem at his shoulder.
So the trophy left our territory and travelled to Piedmont in the hands of Gianluca Tournour to whom Officine Ambrogio Melesi congratulates for the success achieved.
